To contribute to Singapore Airlines' vision of becoming the world's most digital airline, the Regional E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Department (RECD) was founded in April 2020, with the purpose to drive and develop e-commerce and digital marketing on a regional level, to leverage on synergies and to apply best practices across Europe.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION
As the regional specialist for email marketing you are responsible for the creation and implementation of client newsletters for our subscriber base in Europe. This comprises regional mailings as well as individual mailings for specific markets. The newsletters are set up according to the direction of the management, local market requirements and your own inputs and ideas.
You apply A/B tests to gain new learnings for improving the campaign performance and analyze the overall results based on KPIs such as Open Rate, Click-to-Open-Rate or Unsubscribe Rate. Your key stakeholders are the colleagues in the RECD department, the Brand Marketing department in Head Office and the E-Commerce representatives at stations in the local markets.
You further develop and drive the regional email strategy, including activities to grow the subscriber base in the region and the co-operation with external partners specialized in the travel sector, to increase the reach via paid media.
The job scope encompasses a secondary area in line with the requirements of the company, to enrich your job scope. As a member of RECD you can contribute to all projects of the department, with the possibility of being the project leader in cross-functional projects (campaign owner). Members in our team have the option to change the e-commerce subject matter after 2 years.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
You have a high affinity for and, ideally, proven work experience in digital marketing/e-commerce but we also address this to any recent university graduates
You work in an independent, structured, accurate and reliable manner
You combine self-motivation & being a team player and have shown this before
You are proactive and apply a «Hunting for Sales» attitude, with the consumer's view in mind
You are characterized by a high understanding of numbers and analytical strength - terms such as CTR, open rate or ROAS are no foreign words to you
Problem-solving in a complex & dynamic (VUCA) environment is just the right thing for you. You have produced respective results before and can demonstrate them
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, Sharepoint)
Knowledge of Adobe Campaign, Photoshop (basic), HTML (basic) and any CMS is a plus
You have excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written), any other language is a plus. Intercultural competencies are close to your heart.
